pepe63xnotuse Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 It's good to hear that they're okay.. I just hope their Unimog isn't too badly damaged(..especially after the army have dragged it back out of the ravine!? 8-) ) ..I *was* looking forward to our upcoming weekend in Cheltenham...but for some reason, after looking at their blog of their travels through South Amerca,I'm now feeling slightly "deflated"... *-) (..Oh well!..at least our vehicle is the right way up,though eh! ;-) )
Mel B Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 This is their blog site if anyone is interested .... http://www.treadtheworld.com/
Andy_C Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 There's a pic of the Unimog in the ravine here: http://g1.globo.com/brasil/noticia/2011/09/marinha-resgata-britanicos-de-acidente-em-rodovia-na-amazonia.html Andy
tugga Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Crikey, they were so lucky to get out of that ravine! I take it the Unimog is still there or is their insurance company getting that out too?
