Bulletguy Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 This may have been yesterdays News but am quite surprised to find there is no thread on here about it.......or maybe I shouldn't be surprised? *-) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/article-2040318/Lesley-Norris-Bruce-Scott-saved-Amazon-sparking-Sussex-rescue-mission.html They have a very good blog too......though it's only of interest to motorhome travellers.
aultymer Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 The forum was too slow to make any comments yesterday - today is a whole new ball game! Good on the pair of intrepid motorhomers and their rescuers. Maybe a lesson on the load bearing capabilities of rotten wooden structures would have been good prep for this trip. They lived to learn though.
pepe63xnotuse Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Well, someone did start a thread about this over on the "motorhoime matters" section a couple of days back..but only I responded to it?...I don't know why that was/is? :-S (..it can't *just* be down to site speed,surely..?) ..perhaps if that ravine was in Spain or the south of France..and some bottles of wine had've been lost.. then it may've got more of a response...? :D :D
Mel B Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 This is their blog site: http://www.treadtheworld.com/ Pepe ... perhaps it was because a lot of us were struggling to get on to the site! 8-)
