2yr ago, we stopped at the CL site in Coniston (Mrs Dixon, Lake Road, 01539 441265) V/good site with hook up and close to all amenities. It is very popular so would advise ringing first.

Hi have you tried the site at kirby lonsdale right next to devils bridge. its a very cosy site with nice showers and a small shop and good pitches with hook ups for electric and tv well worth a look we went earlier in the year :-D

Dave shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :D

If it's full, offer to stay at the front of the house, there's a hook up and a tap, it's actually more convenient than the site.

Surely one of the best located CL's. Period.

Hi

Ambleside has actually got a motorcaravan aire. Almost in the centre of town, about as near to the centre of the lake District as you can get.
