Clive Posted October 9, 2011 Share Posted October 9, 2011 Had a problem with the generator hunting and going unstable and finally switching off when comming off main load to only a small load. If you have a similar problem then the procedure is this :- Undo the latch using the key and remove the front cover by tilting the bottom towards you then lifting it off the top ledge. Remove one 6mm screw from each side of the cabinet, they are about 40mm up from the bottom and near the front. Gently slide the generator forward on the runners until you can see the throttle and choke mechanisms by looking in the right hand side. Apply WD40 to the linkages and throttle shaft and waggle them about until nice and free. Slide it back, fit the screws and put back the cover. Job done. C.
