Remis Blinds........vibrations

I think that the noisiest thing about our Ducato panelvan conversion (apart from the Ducato bonnet ) is the REMIS blinds.

I can see that the plastic surrounds can be securely fixed to the doors; although a few more fixings would be helpful, but the main source of vibration and noise is the horizontal rods that the blinds slide along.

I'm wondering if their "natural frequency" can be changed, thereby changing the frequency at which they vibrate. The rods go from side to side, through a central guide, and if they could be clamped and made rigid over half their length I think the noise could be eliminated.

Has anyone had this problem and solved it?

Have REMIS solved it by now? I can't be the only one with this problem.

thanks,

alan

I have the same problem on my side of the passenger door window. It drives me mad at times but haven't found a solution, just keep tapping it as wel drive along.

On my side windows the blinds were rattling against the centre upright between the quarter-light & window an inch square of S/A high density foam at the top of the upright cured the problem.
