Hi

May be preaching to the converted but just put some POI on my TomTom which was really easy, wish I had done it earlier..

Connected my tomtom go710 (fairly old now) to the computer; go into tomtom home on the pc and click on ADD traffic, voices, safety camera etc; Then click on POINTS OF INTEREST add new locations; Then a whole load of POI’s come up, a lot in the U.S. ..but put in search, which I did for ACSI and you get a 2009 version for free, then click download, done in seconds.

I know I will get ,hopefully, replies of an easier way to get the newer version but hey I’m still learning!!

Sorry to dampen your enthusiasm :-D but go to Archies Campings and you can download the 2011 version.....for free!

The 2012 version will probably be available there soon as well.

When I said I'm still learning, what I meant to say, I'm hopeless on PC's... I downloaded files, but how do I get them onto the TomTom,;for me to understand please remember... I did manage to find where they went to, but after that I'm lost!!!

Thanks for replying... Derek *-)
