Clive
Honda DAX is not a scooter but a little bike and is light. It will carry 2 and go up mountains. Choice of engines including 100cc, 50cc 125 cc. C.
Mel B
This is an image of a Honda Dax ... I've ridden the older version and they are brilliant fun bikes, however, personally I wouldn't want to ride pillion on one as you end up with leg ache as you tend to be sat like a frog with your knees up to your chin! :D
BGD
Do have a look at the Honda Innova, it's a 125cc, with "proper" large diameter wheels, which are much better for handling/stability than the tiny ones on most other scooters. About 105kgs wet weight, a superb little bike, and very good for two-up riding over longish distances. We've had ours for about 18 months now; it goes on a a scooter rack on the back of our MH, and we have already done about 6,000 kms on it to date. From personal experience, highly recommended. rupert123
Another vote for the Innova, we have had one for three years. It does have drawbacks though cannot really agree about the comfort over longish distance, after about 25 miles it feels like the seat has disapeared up your backside. Also the fuel tank is very small, another real 'pain in the backside'.
ips
Look at the "Piaggio" range particularily the "Zip" they are lightweight and also quite low which is helpfull if its going in a garage at any time.

ips
Agree, very cool but a tad expensive maybe and doesnt appear to be pillion friendly. Defo very cool though :-D
pepe63xnotuse
Yeah,I think the Sachs is probably better suited for "da yoofs",posing outside their local Spar or "Offie .. (lol) I wouldn't have thought you could go far wrong with something like a Honda C90...cheap and bullet proof..
