This is an image of a Honda Dax ... I've ridden the older version and they are brilliant fun bikes, however, personally I wouldn't want to ride pillion on one as you end up with leg ache as you tend to be sat like a frog with your knees up to your chin! :D

Do have a look at the Honda Innova, it's a 125cc, with "proper" large diameter wheels, which are much better for handling/stability than the tiny ones on most other scooters.

 

About 105kgs wet weight, a superb little bike, and very good for two-up riding over longish distances.

 

We've had ours for about 18 months now; it goes on a a scooter rack on the back of our MH, and we have already done about 6,000 kms on it to date.

 

From personal experience, highly recommended.

Another vote for the Innova, we have had one for three years. It does have drawbacks though cannot really agree about the comfort over longish distance, after about 25 miles it feels like the seat has disapeared up your backside. Also the fuel tank is very small, another real 'pain in the backside'.
