Dr Dave Posted October 22, 2011 Share Posted October 22, 2011 We have a Chausson Flash 04 and one of the living hinges on the shower screen has started to split from the top about half way down. Its a 'H' section living hinge in which the acrylic panels push in either side and the hinged part allows them to fold up. for storage The company we purchased the motorhome from seems doubtful that this will be covered by Chaussons warranty (I disagree and will pursue this further) but keen to have a backup plan if they let me down i would like to know of a UK supplier. Brian Kirby Posted October 24, 2011 Share Posted October 24, 2011 What year is the Flash? Your rights as a consumer are not limited by the duration, or terms, of the manufacturer's warranty. It is the selling dealer who is liable, and they should not be trying to fob you off with the sucked teeth and "we'll see if Chausson will wear it under warranty" routine.
