Frank McAuley
Has anybody tried to mount a GPS on a BRODIT bracket in a new Fiat Ducato. On the advice of Snooper I purchased ,through Snooper, a BRODIT bracket to fit a Snooper Ventura S7000 GPS to the LHS dash air vent of a new Fiat Ducato But it fell off! Brodit and the UK supplier don't seem to accept that Fiat have embellished the air vents on the new Ducato and their brackets don't fit yet they are still selling them as if they do! Has anybody come across this on the new Ducato or another vehicle? :-S

david lloyd
I had, until recently, been using a Brodit clamp I originally bought for another vehicle and simply slid part of it under the clipboard spring mount. However, as the plug in lead came straight out the bottom of the satnav it gradually wore down the connecting lead and broke some (or all) of the strands inside the lead and I started losing charging contact. I have just bought and fitted a new Brodit clamp (for TomTom) in the vent just to the left hand side of the steering wheel and it seems to be holding well. Frank McAuley
Hi David Does the air vent have an embellisher factory fitted or is it a plain plastic finish?
