Mike88
One further point - by taping up your keyhole it is POSSIBLE that you may experience problems on a ferry. If your alarm does not have an anti tilt mechanism the alarm will sound continuously. It's best to lock your vehicle on a ferry with a key. I have an anti tilt mechanism on my alarm but on a recent ferry journey from Santander the ferry staff insisted I lock my vehicle with a key so as to avoid a flat battery. I tried to explain that the alarm would not go off but language problems prevented me from getting my explanation across. It was then I found that the doors wouldn't lock with a key but that is another story.......now fixed.
