Just wondering if anyone has stopped at a new camp site that is in the ACSI book this year called Camping Bardenas? If so what is it like please. It is between Pamplona and Zaragoza so would be a handy stop for us on route through Spain.

We went this way in January and it was a long, boring journey through to Kiko Park where we stayed for a few nights.

Sue SORRY DOUBLE POSTING, FORUM MOVING TOO QUICKLY TODAY :$

Hi,sorry to go off track but after these two stops which way did you go,any advise on roads would be very helpful,H (lol)

Hello Happy, we did stop at the Bardenas campsite after Biarritz, it was open but we and one other long term Spanish tugger were the only people on site, although the bar/restaurant was open we never found the reception open 8-).........and the bar staff didn't seem to be able to book us in :-S........so in the morning we just stuffed 16 euro's in a pooh bag with our name and address and put it in their letter box :D

Also the showers were cold!

We had a quiet night but didn't sleep as well as when on the previous Aires........Sue thought she heard something!........maybe a bit of Spanish paranoia had set in after BG's experience :$

From there we went straight through to Calpe and arrived mid afternoon, we kept off the toll roads and I think it was mainly A23 through to Valencia..............the roads were all very quiet outside of the big towns ;-)
