Sylvia Burman-Hunt
Sorry I haven't replied earlier, my computer was down and had no virus protection, so have been turned off for several weeks. Also my e-mail isn't working properly and won't send most things - I can't seem to get it sorted out! I had a F reg 1989 transit A/S Flair and to lock it from within I removed the door panel from the offside (locking) door, cut a hole in it level with a lever that pushes the lock on and then refixed the door panel. At night I just pushed a finger through the small hole and knocked the lock ON and in the morning when exiting with the dogs (at some ungodly hour) I again pushed my finger through the hole and knocked the lever OFF. Difdn't take too long and the hole only neaded to be about the size of a 50 pence piece. Hope this helps. Sylvia.
MOTORHOMER
We also had an Autosleeper Flair & had the same problem. Cant remeber who did it but either the converter or Ford. chaneged it free so that it locked from both inside & out. Motorhomer
