nightrider
I saw on the TV news that the North Korean leader has just died, what about all those crocodile forced tears given out by his subjects? And what about his son that has taken over, what a dipstick he looks, wonder how long he will last?
CliveH
I wonder how long we will last if that podgy toad of an individual (what a idiot he looks!) cannot keep his finger off THE button. All we can hope for is a version of the "Arab Spring" that does not trigger the loony tunes to believe pushing that button is preferable to giving up and allowing proper government and human rights for Koreans. Lord Braykewynde
Crying in front of the cameras is preferable to not crying in front of the cameras especially for those who value life despite the deprivations they have to live with daily. It certainly looks like the political elite feed well unlike the lady shown who was out picking grass and definitely looked malnourished.
CliveH
I have often thought that we owe George Orwell a huge huge HUGE debt of gratitude for his warning in his book 1984. By reading it - I believe we in this country and others we were able to avoid his horrific vision of what the future may have been. Sadly for the Koreans, the ridiculous Stalinist dynasty that has been in charge and may well continue, seems to have taken 1984 as a blueprint for a corrupt elite to run a whole country as some bizarre game where real lives have no more value than those we see in this country in a video game. It has to end. Shame for the Korean people they do not sit on top of oil reserves.

How lucky you are that you live in a free Country such as ours, How lucky you are that you don't have to shed Crocodile tears over the death of your leader lest you are imprisoned or shot, and how lucky you are that you can disparage the possible new leader of North Korea without fear of death. Now go and sit in the corner Malcolm and as a penance for upsetting Vindiboy chant ten 'hail Windyships' and gargle in holy maids water. BTW I'm unsure of the dipstick description but he does seem wild eyed and mentally unstable. It's probably because not having his fathers shadow there to cower under he's unsure how long he's got left on this earth. Considering how South Korea is taking it it is obvious that the whole country is unstable and not just the leader. Apologies to anyone I might offend for my take on their new leader or North Korea :-)
nightrider
These Koreans dont half give themselves fancy names, our dear leader and our glorious leader etc, if they start cutting up rough I think China and Japan will be pointing big guns at them. Yeah - you wouldn't get any that fancy names stuff amongst leaders in the UK. Oh, ummm, but just remind me; what are the UK leaders actually called? Cameron? "Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury and Minister for the Civil Service." Oh, and Lizzie has a very simple title: Her SHORT title is: "Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God Queen of this Realm and of Her other Realms and Territories, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith, Duke of Normandy, Lord of Mann and Duke of Lancaster." As a matter of interest, amongst the full title list, which goes on for pages, she is also "Chief Hunter of the Order of the Buffalo Hunt". So, no fancy titles there then. ;-)

malc d
I am always intrigued by the number of medals these people are wearing - I'd love to know what all their achievements are. Mind you, that applies to a lot of military top brass in the west - some of them look as if they have won several wars on their own. :-D
