postnote
We're broke and we can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless etc. BUT are you aware of the following ? The British Government provides the following financial assistance: - BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER (bearing in mind they worked hard and paid their Income Tax and National Insurance contributions to the British government all their working life) Weekly allowance:£106.00 IMMIGRANTS/REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN (No Income Tax and National Insurance contribution whatsoever) Weekly allowance: £250.00 BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER Weekly Spouse allowance: £25.00 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS/REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN Weekly Spouse allowance: £225.00 BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER Additional weekly hardship allowance £0.00 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS/REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN Additional weekly hardship allowance£100.00 A British old age pensioner is no less hard up than an illegal immigrant/refugee yet receives nothing BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER TOTAL YEARLY BENEFIT £6,000 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS/REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN TOTAL YEARLY BENEFIT: £29,900 Please forward to all your contacts so that we can lobby for a decent state pension. After all, the average pensioner has paid taxes and contributed to the growth of this country for the last 40 to 60 years Yet illegal immigrants and refugees are GIVEN so much of OUR money. For WHAT ? DID THEY EARN IT ? DID WE ASK THEM TO COME HERE ? DO WE WANT THEM HERE ? Offensively galling isn't it ? Isn't it about time we put our own people first ? It's OUR MONEY, NOT THEIRS. Most people won't have the guts to forward this. I Just did!
Robinhood
Not quite sure what you're trying to achieve with this, OneNote (maybe I can surmise), but it is a widely-posted piece of tripe that the usual "checking" websites debunk. ......and a Merry Chrismas to you too........ :-S
Symbol Owner
Thanks for that Robin, We need to expose this vile rubbish posting for the tissue of lies that it is >:-) Just going to: www.direct gov.uk 'benefits adviser' and putting in 'Postnote' with a fictitious d.o.b., but over pension age, revealed the multitude of errors in this piece of filth. He can't even use the correct figure for the basic State Pension! Ignore the Troll! Apart from the benefits another incentive is if they get here it's highly unlikely they will get deported due to our lax border controls and the EU human rights laws that Labour signed up to. I would hardly think they are desperate to get here because of our climate and things must be truly bad in France if they are desperate to leave that country. If you simply pick a ripe piece of the polemic (something that looks like it may comprise a "signature"), and post it into Google, you will be able to check on the widespread posting or not. For instance, in this case, if you search for the included words "Seniors, Veterans, Orphans" (with the quotes included) into Google you can see where this has been and come from (including a number of links doing the aformentioned "debunking"). Symbol Owner
Thanks for that Robin -- although I doubt that it is worth bothering -- I get the drift! As for Chris (Lord Windbag) -- people who have trekked across Europe (often from African or Asian countries with war, famine or cruel dictatorial regimes, to end up in a tented village in our winter weather, can hardly be said to be: "Doing very well over here" (lol) As for Labour 'signing up' you have a very short memory Lord B. -- a certain Tory idealist, (who had experienced the fall-out from two major European/world wars in one century) one Edward (later Sir Edward) Heath, got us into the " Another fine mess" that is the EU, I seem to recall. (Almost) everything else that various British P.M.'s have got us into, flows from that decision, IMO. Colin.

Mr Mrs Batty
Luckily as we are both totally rubbish on the PC. we dont even know how to cut and paste on here ! Just as well really as the post from ADOLF PUGGY is in our opinion (Please note OUR OPINION NOT BGD) is over the top and offensive. If we can not get our turkey in the oven we will top round to the pug kennel as he is obviously about to introduce large gas ovens. On a lighter note we both hope everyone (bit early maybe ?!) has a great Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Our year coming up is really frightening and also REALLy exciting as we start 'long terming'. We hope everyone came in the hard times that we are all in financially can find something posative and good to look forward too in 2012. Its helps us !!! Alright then Robin ;-)......................I'll repeat myself........ when do we close the doors?...........70 million.........80 million..........or as I said earlier, until our standard of living is so low they don't bother coming *-) ....why on earth should I bother answering that question? My initial, (and continuing) response to this thread was to point out the sheer lack of facts contained in the original post (compounded by Onenote's re-posting of one particular link to the same tripe - I would suggest he tries Googling like Colin did, to test the origins and veracity). This was, of course, compounded by "His Windyness" responding with a post that started "I'm not sure of the figures but I thought it was obvious.............", but he seems to have taken umbrage at me pointing out that this hardly focusses the "debate". I'm sure you have your views on immigration, just as I have mine; I, however simply don't feel the need to discuss them on a public forum, especially surrounded by the utter nonsense that is typically associated with such debate on here.
