Mr Mrs Batty
Hi Tricky we have a mini fold away rottary washing line thingy which is very good. Fold down into a mbag and easy to store. The legs and rings so that you can peg the structure down with standard tent pegs. We bought it fron GO OUTDOORS and was just under £20. Have seen them in some camping shops as well if this is of any help. The Bs
Derek Uzzell
Extending clothes-line props are readily available (GOOGLE on "clothes line prop") - though not in plastic, probably because it would not be sufficiently rigid. Baased on the reviews, this version is one of the better ones: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Brettell-Shaw-Extending-Clothes-BEEXTLNPG/dp/B002SLCJJE/ref=pd_sxp_f_pt

flicka
This appears to be wahat you are looking for. £3 if collected from store & they also have an alternative http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/outdoor-airers/wilko-extending-clothes-prop/invt/1289640/ Also suitable for Windblockers side sections, if you order those on-line. tonyishuk
As suggested Wilkinsons, Or in our case where no Wilko's was nearby, we found some extending fishing rod stays at a reasonable price and they were a lot lighter than the the Wilko ones. Cattwg
I've seen telescopic ones in Tesco. They extend from about 3ft ish when closed to about double when extended. About £3 if memory serves. Have not seen or heard of folding line props. Cattwg :-D
