Knife stabbing culture coming back again

postnote

Recommended Posts

Yet again we see the knife stabbing culture coming back again, why NO DETERENT.

If I had my way be anyone found carrying a knife should be jailed for immediately for 1 month, no but’s or maybe’s. Once released then they can be prosecuted for carrying a knife. There is absolutely NO reason why anyone should walk around with a knife in their pocket.

Make it clear to all, that if you carry a knife you lose your human rights. After all the ones they kill lose their human rights for ever.

No disrespect Postnote but where have you been? "knife culture is coming back"???? NO, it has always been here. I gather the incident in Oxford Street was over a pair of trainers so that maybe explains it. The victim was evidently a 'black muslim Somali' although what that has to do with it escapes me. Were the attackers similar, I do not know.

All I do know is that evidence seems to suggest that a high proportion of certain groups in an area can lead to an increase in all types of crimes. This in turn encourages all youths to carry knives 'for protection' and the cycle continues. We used to have the razor gangs of the 30's, it seems we have a modern equivalent. There are many reasons that can be put forward as a cause, but very few solutions, that are allowable.

O well thats me banged up then *-)

There are laws which regulate what knives can be carried in a public space, Those that I carry whilst out shooting would see me in jail, but like many I have legal carry knives also, and in 45(? ) years of doing so have not yet stabbed anyone.

p.s. I suspect that the knife used was proboly not legal carry and therefore the perp would have been arrested if found out.

Try not to feed the troll chaps.

Quote ...

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

The noun troll may refer to the provocative message itself, as in: "That was an excellent troll you posted".

As postnote was the originator of the thread I can't see how he can be accused of being a troll in this instance. Maybe one could argue that the original post from him was to get an emotional response but as we are all supposed to be adults we don't have to respond :-)

I'd agree with Dave225.

Knife culture isn't coming back - because it didn't go away.

The media just gives it more prominence from time to time.

Guess who aplauded when I and Tracker declared a truce?. If you said BGD you would be correct. It's just a pity he can't do the same with Postnote. Then he doesn't have to demean himself with meaningles posts such as the one quoted.

60's it was Flick Knifes.

Dave

Yeah! and if you got caught with one you were soon up in front of the court and lucky if you didn't spend 3 months in a detention centre or previously borstal.

What's the difference betwenn carrying a gun or carrying a knife? If you pull out either, you either have to use it or get a kicking and probably have it used on you.

100% agree Peter, so what do they get now? a 3 months ASBO badge. The difference between a gun and a knife is that one is silent. ;-)

Probably not PC to say, but as this seems to be a predominantly Black on Black crime, and involved someone who was already known to Police, and I believe awaiting further investigation, I doubt anything much will happen. When you get boys who attend Eton or Cambridge stabbing each other someone might just take note, but until then nothing much will change, in fact even less so when you consider the efforts to stop the Police from doing stop and search.

The authorities also don't know if imigrants have previous convictions and don't seem to check them out.

We had a Latvian axe murderer on the loose round Boston. He got done for ramming a young woman on a scooter with his car and killing her whilst 3 times over the limit of alcohol.

When he went to court it was revealed that he had killed someone with an axe and was jailed for 2 yrs I think. You just don't know the reprobates and scum that are being allowed into this country.

You only have to look in the local paper to realise that a disproportionate amount of crime, mostly alcohol fueled, is committed by east european male imigrants. I'm not being racist either, it's a fact. >:-)

Good riddance to one less " Gangsta " . No sympathy except for the poor shoppers that witnessed it !

Hi Tony,

Glad to see you back from your travels, black on black shootings and stabbings are you bothered? I aint.

Evening Malcolm , we were back for few days to surprise daughters back in Udders . Black on black , white on white as long as there killing each other and no innocents are hurt then truthfully I do not give a flying .... Only trouble is that his " Gangsta " comrades will think it a great honour to die for there gang and there will be many willing new Scregs to take his place .

Serious knife crime at Eton is using the wrong cutlery at dinner.

Good to hear your rolling up your sleeves. But defending him won't get you a free holiday in Spain. I have no axe to grind with you Mr Batty and I'm sure that BDG is big and stupid enough to fight his own corner. Good luck with your new friendship. :D :D
