The world is......

The world is a stage and we all have a part to play in it, the man who goes to work in a suit is basically wearing clothes to suit his job, the man in blue overalls wears clothes to suit him working on a building site.

The higher up the scale and the more responsibility you carry dictates the pay you recieve, each and everyone of us has a part to play in making the world rotate and progress, problems arise when one section of the community looks down on others as being worthless, not so, one cannot survive without the other, throw down your spears and axes and take up the ploughshare, good will to all men and a happy new year to one and all.

I'm assuming that you are leaving Outreach Officers, and Inclusivity Facilitators out of your analysis Malcolm........

Bruce,

To be quite honest I haven't a clue what an outreach officer and an inclusivity facilitator is? do tell.

Yeah, that was sort of my point Malcolm, no-one does, but there are a lot of them employed at taxpayers expense nonetheless in the UK.

Happy 2012 to ya mate, best wishes for a good 'un!

Well, part of my former role consisted of Outreach work. Inreach too.

Out being out in the community and in being inside the home.

Showing folk some basic life skills is heavy duty stuff I can tell you. Trying to explain the need to, say, put your bin out, (recycling would be a long way down the line I can tell you), on the correct day is quite a challenge.

We of course take something as mundane as that in our stride. But if you have suffered a period or a life of abuse, consisting of one (or more) of the "big four", Sexual, emotional, neglect and physical then it can be a different ball game.

To say nothing of having alcohol & other subtances FORCED upon some of their lives.

There are people out there who need help.

I thank my God that I'm not one of them and thank again that I was able to provide some small crumb of support for some.

Happy New Year everyone :-D

Martyn

They are just high fallutin' names dreamt up by Human Resources departments ( which used to be called Personnel Departments )

Happy New Year all !
