Ducato/Boxer 2009 Headlight Protectors

I have the Black Shapes that ensure you don’t dazzle on coming traffic.

Could somebody with the Protectors photo them and add a couple of measurement to allow me to place mine then email the results to me.

Help would be much appreciated Thanks

No measurements I'm afraid, but photos provided by "Way2Go" in a posting towards the bottom of this earlier thread may be sufficient for you:

(I'd make a roughish copy of each mask from insulating tape, stick the copies on to the protectors in positions that look similar to those shown in the photos and then use the traditional 'shine the headlights on a wall' ploy to see how well the temporary masks worked. Once I was sure that the copies masked off the part of the dipped beam that might dazzle oncoming motorists driving on the right, I'd replace the copies with better quality masks.)

A throw-away observation...

Fitting 'masks' to headlamps (or to headlamp protectors) will - if they are correctly positioned - remove that part of the dipped-beam pattern likely to dazzle oncoming traffic. However, it's probably better to fit 'beam benders' that are designed to modify the dipped-beam pattern from left-dipping (the UK RHD standard) to right-dipping (the Continental LHD norm.

The most commonly available beam-bending product is branded "Eurolites" and fiiting instructions are provided here:

http://www.motoring-into-europe.co.uk/fitting.html

The Eurolites product comes with on-headlight positioning instructions for a wide range of vehicles including current model Boxers/Ducatos.

The following on-line trader offers Eurolites very inexpensively:

(Searching the forum, putting eurolites in the Keywords box, will retrieve earlier discussions.)
