nightrider
If you fancy a good laugh watch Mrs Browns Boys tonight on BBC1 at 9.30pm, be warned the language is choice, not for our more sensitive members.

nightrider
Klyne - 2012-01-16 11:22 PM Tonights episode was particularly funny. David Mrs browns Boys is filmed in front of a live audience and the show is coming to Manchester sometime this year, it is a sell out, the funniest episode was when Mrs Brown gave herself a bikini wax, I was chewing the carpet in hysterics laughing. CliveH
I record them and watch them later as my wife is not a great fan - tho the bikini line wax episode had her in hysterics. I actually nearly choked in that episode when the tea leaf character saw the wax strip on the floor and went to stamp on it. Funniest thing I have see for years. Look forward to sitting down with a cuppa and enjoying last night’s episode. (lol) Sadly - in contrast - is it just me or does anyone else fine David Jason’s latest "comedy" - The Royal Bodyguard a complete letdown? Audience figures are plummeting it seems and I am not surprised. For such a great actor this "show" is an embarrassment. Poor writing, pratfall humour well past its sell by date - a serious disappointment. In contrast – the simple format of Mrs Browns Boys with its good scripts comes across well. I've never watched any episode so I can't give my opinion on it. All I've seen is that one clip and if the programmes are as funny as that one clip it's something that tickles my chuckle muscle (lol)

CliveH
I think the simplicity of the format and it being live just sets it so far apart from other so called humour on TV today.
