armstrongpiper
I have just been reading the piece in the February 2012 MMM about LEZ in Europe, and it seems that it could make touring a nightmare, in that one will have to register at many places before being eligible to enter their Zones. I got the sticker for Germany last year, but intend to go via Austria to northern Italy in June. As a first attempt to understand what to do, I sent an email to the authorities in Verona, who replied that I must write to an office there to register. Can I ask advice from those who have been to those countries who are starting to impose these Zones how they coped with the business of registering. For example, can one call at a garage etc before entering a Zone and get the necessary windscreen sticker? Neil B
armstrongpiper
Apologies, if needed, but I've 'bumped' this thread back to the top, as I'm surprised it hasn't raised any answers, considering the discussion taking place re the German Umwlet elsewhere, and the number of people who travel in Italy etc. Comments, advice, please.
