big olga
Hi All, we are lucky in my home town as we have two sites with Aires; one a the Harbour, beside the 800 year old Norman Castle in Carrickfergus and the other at Whitehead Bentra Golf Club. The tokens are one pound and can be used for electric or water [one token for each] there is a porta dump drain also. The sign is not one that is seen by motorhomers on a large car park! more parking will soon be installed for extra long Motorhomes. best Wishes dave. P.S.there is a sainsbury,s at the Harbour. Rod_vw
It's not clear from the original post if this is an Aire de Service only or is overnight parking also available? Which ever it would be good if the details were passed to Archies Camping http://www.archiescampings.eu/eng1/ to ensure inclusion in their POI listing. big olga
Hi, Rod there are no overnight restrictions at both Aires; no height bars, Motorhomes/campers are welcome ,many motorhomers use the Harbour Carpark for overnighters. once the "hot hatch" drivers head home, it is very quiet. Derek Uzzell
Both Irish 'aires' seem to be on the campingcar-infos website, plus another 192 of one type or another.
