kenzcampervan
2011 Peugoet 2.2 Autocruise [accent] panel van.It had been standing in the cold and wind for about 4 weeks when I restarted it and it seemed ok,but after driving it about 500yards or so,I noticed the Emission control light was still on,the book says it can damage the CAT thing,so I made my way back, parked up for a couple of hours, and tried again, but it was still on,so I left it over night, and next morning all was ok,Can anyone tell me what might have happened if I d just ignored it and gone out on a trip,or is one of them quirks that happen now and then, and whats it for anyway? Thanks anyone . fjmike
Was your battery flat after it was stood for that long?. If it was and you used a jump battery or other device it can result in odd warning lights being displayed
