cerro
I have been trying to buy a 10" swivel wheel unit for a trailer and i can not get one anywhere I have tried two sites in the UK, one site in France, and a lot of sites in the USA but with out success. If anyone know where I can buy one of these wheels I would be very gratefull. The wheel is like a castor, and swivels when reversing so the trailer wont jacknife. A demo can be seen on u-tube of it working Kind Regards cerro
Brambles
Try searching Google (shopping) for a Jockey wheel, you will have much more luck. Or trailer stores online for a Jockey wheel. Edit --- I have misunderstood haven't I, you mean something else don't you?

There is a 'send message' section on his post Mike
Derek Uzzell
You might try this company http://www.easylifter.co.uk/hydra-trail.htm (Are you sure that a mono-wheel trailer is fully legal in the UK? I know that they are marketed for towing behind a motorbike http://www.mono-trail.co.uk/trailers/tourmax/tourmax-single-wheel-motorcycle-trailer.html but there seems to some doubt on biker forums about their UK-legality.) cerro
Hello, A jocky wheel is no good. The vidio that is posted is in the USA and they are made by the Double Hitch Co as are all the one made in the USA and they dont import to the UK. I have tried Easylift and ezytow in the UK and they will only sell the trailer not the wheels on there own.
flicka
Hi Cerro I did hours researching Swivel Wheel Trailers. They are common in the States where I think your Suspension Strut Unit originates from, but the vast majority I found use 8" wheels. (not 10") & generally wider tyres than is common for UK Trailer Wheels. Possibilities - (need to check your hub PCD.) http://www.western-towing.co.uk/acatalog/Trailer_Wheel_Rims_Tyres.html http://www.leisure-mart.co.uk/shop/Vcat1.asp?cat=48004128 http://www.banburytrailers.co.uk/index.php?cPath=124&WSid=874fbf89ddbf13100d21b3cd0821d791 Do check Tyre weight loading & speed rating, before ordering.. Derek Uzzell
I notice that you've tried a French company. Was it either of these? http://www.cladel.fr/ElementsRubrique.aspx?SITE=DELOUB1&RUB=2&MP_SS_RUB=ELEM&MP_ELT=DETAI&PAGE=1 http://www.manutan.fr/roulettes-forces-350-a-525-kg_M1325-925.html?WT.mc_id=hellopro&utm_campaign=catalogue&utm_source=hellopro&utm_medium=comparateur&utm_content=classic
cerro
Thanks for your comments Flicka, Derek yes it was the french firm Cladel and they are sold though camping/caravan outlets but they are 3,750 euros for the Trailers so never asked about the wheels as I found the google language translater not very good.
