spospe
We have stayed there 3 times now, in late October / early November and it has only had two or three other vans on it. I have never considered the possibility of its being full of itinerants; not a good thing to come across at the end of a long day's travel when one is looking for a rest :-S
JohnP
I have stayed there a couple of times and it has always been about half full. Hope this use by itinerants isn't a sign of things to come. Wonder if they are paying the 7 Euro's per night and using the electricity. Pity the poor lady who has to collect the money.
sshortcircuit
Stayed there in June/July with plenty space. Camp site is open mid March to mid October so would imagine no fees collected and power switched off.

mondo
I would imagine the water/electric is switched off until March(ish)......It is a great aire plenty of room for around 50 vans....The aire at Buchy is OK but the tokens for the Electric were 2 euros for a 10 minute burst available from the Marie....Mind you that was a couple of years ago when we used it....The aire itself is OK however at the top end of it alot of buses are parked up...presumably to collect the the schoolkids next day as the aire is opposite a large High School..which is used for out of hours school club... as when we stayed there they were doing various things until 10pm at night..and then the buses fired up next morning at around 7/730am (ish) It has a reasonable "Safe Feel" to it as the Gendarmerie is a couple of hundred yards down the road..it's a nice little town and only 15 minutes away from the A28..
