Keith T
We are currently enjoying the 'winter' use of our German built Burstner in the UK, and for the past week and next few days on a site in South Devon, which most of the week were almost the only ones here. Over the weekend there were in total 13 or 14 units, of which 3 were Caravans, the rest motorhomes. All were UK registered, but Interestingly (and being bored with just looking out of the window), I had a quick check of the manufacturers of these.........only 3 were UK, one Autosleeper, one Compass, and one AutoTrail (I think), the rest from various European manufacturers. They varied considerably in age, but I wonder if this was a 'true' representation of recent sales - ie only 30% from UK?
johnnerontheroad
It may be because only european M/H are fully winterised. Dave
Guest 1footinthegrave
Perhaps "being bored with just looking out of the window" has just made you aware of the different makes nothing more than that. I think you'll find the same mix at any time of the year
