squirepole Posted May 19, 2006 Share Posted May 19, 2006 some time age ago i replaced my defunct fridge with an electrolux RM4200. at the time i swopped the piezo igniter for an electronic igniter and everything was hunky dory for a number of years. all of a sudden the electronic switch keeps flashing all the time even when the fridge is on.i have cleaned the burner assembly, the flue, even changed the igniter block but no luck! any ideas? I took the assembly apart again (including removing and cleaning the thermo-couple) and, when I put it all back together again, the igniter had returned to normal operation.
