willnod
I would be interested to hear from anyone who has experience of the MX-37 CAMPING KIT as sold by Leisurepower for £99.99 (ie the kit that is contained in a suitcase. I have limited storage space in my MotorCaravan and its compact nature attracts me. I do not intend to travel abroad (too old at 71).Would it be possible to use the suction mounts to attach to the bonnet or sides of the vehicle or is a tripod a better solution. Any comments would be appreciated.. Regards Don
johnsandywhite
:-D Hi willnod. Lots have bought them or similar ones and had great success with them. They can be bought MUCH cheaper from Aldi, Lidl, Maplins, etc. IMHO. ;-)
Dave Newell
Hi Willnod, As JSW says they are cheaper from Maplins, Lidl etc plus the Maplins/Lidl kits include a 12 Volt freesat receiver which the Leisurepower kit doesn't. As far as I'm aware theirs is just a dish kit with no receiver! D.
Basil
The Maplin kit, complete with the reciever, is currently on sale for 59.95 or less if you use the vouchers you get on joining!!
