Guest pelmetman Posted October 24, 2012 Share Posted October 24, 2012 Mickt - 2012-10-24 1:30 PM Is it neccessary to remove vinal from plywood or can you drill and inject epoxy resin and plug I suspect its only for aesthetic reasons, as your going to have drill holes on view ;-) ................Having just repaired my step area which had delaminated due to age, although I suspect the fact that the bolts for the step were counter sunk into the 1" ply, so that only 1/2" of ply was holding the step in place *-) But now its rock solid again reinforced with hardwood pads and 9mm ply from above and all injected with glue and screwed from both sides, and I now have a proper door mat area :D Cost?..........................Nuffink B-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pepe63xnotuse Posted October 25, 2012 Share Posted October 25, 2012 I agree with the dealer in this case,as it would(should!) make a far tidier job of it(..that's assuming that the lino lifts up okay..) ...and once completed,you wouldn't even be able to tell that a repair had taken place.... .
