Things written on vans.....

Years ago, a local shop had this sign up behind the counter

 

 

You might refer to this as The 'P*ki' Shop

But back home, we just call it 'The Shop'

 

Took me a while to work it out, but made me smile everytime I saw it.

One of my relations had a plumbing business and his partner was called Plumber. Their vans were sign written "Leake and Plumber".

Whilst in Cheshire last week, and crossing above the M56, a lorry belonging to this firm passed below:

Needless to say, someone had had a go at obscuring three of the letters, and I had to do a double take! 8-)

When I worked in Birmingham my employers had a new kitchen fitted in a new build extension, the fitters were two mature Sikh gentlemen who went by the term "the Turbanators" .

 

I saw a 7.5 tonner this afternoon with these words written in the dirt on the back:

"free airbag test, press here fast!"

We saw some good signs recently:

 

Road sign which pointed to: Sherwood Energy Centre and also the Crematorium!!!! 8-)

 

Advertising sign about pest eradication which said: Moles removed, No Catch, No Fee!!! :D
