bjphillips
Further to my earlier request for info about the clutchclaw (fits over the clutch & brake pedal ) I actually bought one. It fitted perfectly over my pedals on my LHD Ducatto with no movement at all, I cant for the life of me think how it can be got off without doing an awful lot of damage to the surrounding components making it undriveable. I do realize the fact that if someones determined enough it could be overcome but I'm sure also that if they have any sense they'd go for an easier target. I'm sure most of us would have other deterrents within our vehicles to make it more difficult to nick anyway. A driveway alarm placed inside with the receiver by the bedside would give enough warning of intruders to phone the police first rather than run the risk of confronting them, these do work up to about 50 yards away. colin
I'll say it again. Yes it is a deterant BUT if I wanted to nick your van I wouldn't bother taking it off, I'd just drive it sans clutch and using handbrake
