No point travelling too far as other half won't be able to get away early on the Thursday and the roads will no doubt be very busy on Good Friday, so the least travelling the better really. Have had a look at CCC DA meets for Easter but nothing really suitable there, and don't want to go on a clubsite in the school hols (or at any other time really ;-) )We've never really explored Essex, but there must be somewhere good in that general direction? Tony Jones Posted March 27, 2012 Share Posted March 27, 2012 Hi Nicola Depends what you're looking for, but Mersea Island is well worth a visit: marina, country park, beach etc. I can't remember if you're in the CCC, but if so there's a lovely CS at Tollesbury that we've used a couple of times for "local escapes." kelly58 Posted March 28, 2012 Share Posted March 28, 2012 Yes its CCC South Lincs DA at Lyndon Top hopefully will try and make it give the motorhome a run and checkover before we venture to Europe middle of April . I think Spalding, or Lincs generally, may be a bit too far on this occasion, but certainly worth bearing in mind for when we have more time. NO booking required, £7.50 per night, for two adults and unit including your awning and dogs if you have them, great venue and friendly people, we are rallying at Winchester from 4th to 8th then on to Lymington, see you there ?
