josie gibblebucket Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Just spotted this on ebay, could be a useful little thing if you have space to carry it http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Di-Blasi-folding-motorbike-scooter-Carry-Bag-motor-home-boat-camper-/190659274483?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item2c642da6f3
lennyhb Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 It's a Monkey Bike only 24" high don't think I would want to ride it on the road in traffic & 'er indoors wouldn't be very impressed with her seat. (lol)
BGD Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 peter - 2012-04-02 8:29 PM Looks like a death trap on wheels to me. Strongly agree. Tiddly bike, on tiny wheels, with tiny wheelbase length. The handling must be utterly hideous.....and that's before you hit any sort of pothole.
josie gibblebucket Posted April 2, 2012 Author Posted April 2, 2012 Some of you have no sense of adventure :D :D
Mel B Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 We had a friend who had one and took it to Germany for a microcar rally in our converted ambulance with him, it enabled him to tootle about 'independently' without having to rely on us all the time to get him to places ... he is only a little chap though! They have been around for a long time and I can certainly remember looking at them at a motorhome show in the not too distant past (along with the Di blasti folding cycles). http://diblasi.co.uk/ With the way that fuel costs are going up and up, the fact that they are supposed to get 127mpg might have a bearing on how popular they become! 8-) http://www.conceptedge.co.uk/Moped_Detail.html
Guest peter Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 That's if you get 127 miles without being killed by an articulated lorry first. :D
