Hi In our search for a new van with a big payload I came

across this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/08-EURAMOBIL-6-BERTH-GERMAN-QUALITY-MOTORHOME-/270949254105?_trksid=m263&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC%26its%3DI%26itu3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%26otn%3D31%26pmod%3D110820117517%26ps%3D50

It looks ideal. Same layout as our Kontiki, winterised

and it looks in good condition but I cant for the life of

me find any details of payload anywhere on the Internet

or on this site. Payload is crucial as I need to fit a rack and scooter. Have emailed the seller but wondered if anyone had one

or could tell me what it is. Finding motorhome payloads does seem difficult which

is strange as surely its one of the most crucial factors

when considering buying a motorhome.

The nearest current equivalent is here:

Similar size and design (though different layout). I would interpret from this that unless it was built on the (optional) heavier chassis and is rated well above 3500kg, then the payload is going to be insufficient (though it would also - IMO - be insufficient for family use, so maybe it IS on the heavier chassis)

Edit: typo

Thanks for the replies. I think your right, it would need to be on a 4000kg chassis not. 3500kg as I am now informed the payload is just 350kg on the 3500kg chassis which is hopeless.

There just isn't enough info in the add so will await te sellers response.

It's a pity if it's no good as it's the layout we want, fully winterized and a quality build by all accounts.
