Royal Blenheim Ultra XL awning

Hi everybody,

 

Has anybody here used or owned a Royal Blenheim Ultra XL awning on their motorhome? We are interested in buying one but haven't been able to find a dealer that has one erected to look at.

 

If so, do you find it easy to erect? Are you happy with it/Would you recommend it? Our present Sunncamp awning has gone brittle and started to tear after just 3 years.

We are also considering this awning, or possibly the Movelite XL. Did you get this and if so, what is your opinion.

Roger, welcome I have no direct, knowledge of the Royal Blenheim, but a Google search show many retailers, and plenty pictures. We prefer Fiamma wind out awnings that are far quicker to erect. But it all depends on your style of motorhome use. Enjoy anyway

Hi subo - welcome to the mad house! :-D

 

I haven't had a Royal awning, but we have had various Outdoor Revolution awnings, including a XL (and Square, Midi and VRX which are smaller versions).

 

We found the OR Movelite awnings to be very, very well made hence why we've had so many of them to fit our different vans.

 

If you can tell us what motorhome/camper you have this would help to give advice on what awning would be best for your van.
