dpsuk999
Any ideas what this could be??? Its located under the drvers seat, It's fairly thick gauge wire. MH is a Burstner Elegance 690 Cheers Edit can't seem to attach pic
Mike B.
Is it where your leisure battery used to be? many motorhomes have the batteries fitted under drivers seat-maybe yours has been removed and wires left? Without a picture it's hard to guess Mike
Guest peter
Could also be wiring for heated seats, or the trigger wiring for the seat belt pre-tensioners if fitted.
Derek Uzzell
I believe the Elegance 690 has swivelling non-Fiat cab-seats with integrated seat-belts, so either of Peter's suggestions sounds good. The heated-seats suggestion is probably the more likely and that option was certainly available on Ducatos.
crinklystarfish
If it ends in a plastic terminal with spade fittings in the 9mm+ region it'll be the standard Fiat 'auxiliary battery' loom. They fitted this provision for an extra battery on some of the versions intended for use as motorhomes / ambulances etc. It's wired, if I remember correctly, directly in parallel with the starter battery with no split charging circuitry. You should get a nominal 12V reading across it whenever there is a starter battery connected.

I agree with that but I have utilized it with a fuse connection from my solar panel control to charge the vehicle battery when not charging the leisure batteries and vice versa. John.
