Seems to me our lords and masters are unaware that the price of fuel is having a detrimental effect on the UK pulling out of this recession/depression *-)

Not that it bothers them................as we will pay for their fuel no matter how expensive it gets >:-(

Time for another election me thinks >:-) >:-) >:-)

The info in the report I found interesting is not so much the cost of fuel itself, but the relationship to earnings. Whilst Norway is more expensive for example, the cost ratio of fuel to earnings in Norway is a fair bit lower than here in the UK. When the fuel duty increases yet again in August, this ratio will be greater still. That is why I fear that th UK is being and will be hit even harder by further tax increases than other countries by a tax that is causing economic stagnation.

And just what good would you expect this to do?

With apologies for snipping.

It would give me a chance to vote for UKIP ;-)

Judging by the results in France :D.........................I'm not alone :-D.............
