my carver WATER heater seems to blow the 1 amp fuses when on gas sometimes, especially often when first switched on ,or after about 10-20 mins has anyone else experianced this, everything apears to be working ok , also perfect on hook up .I can only suspect that something on one of the circuit boards is breaking down causing this --- BUT WHAT !

Which model are you reffering too. On the Cascade V2GE, and probably others as it is basically the same design, there was a problem of moisture entering the control modual behind the burner. This was often from water being released from the relief valve at the top or worse failure of the heat exchanger/ storage tank 'O' ring seal, or even from rain entering the balanced flue.

Suggest you try Arc Systems who still have spares or are able to repair your modules if this is your problem and have an in depth knowledge of these units.
