a bit cheeky with the POI boast, as most are freely available.

 

20,000, I have ten times that all free from forums and online

 

expensive as well, and can you plan route on a PC or laptop, or do you have to do everything on the unit

 

please use a resource like "tiny url" to shorten links as long links distort page :-D

I would be very suspicious of what TomTom consider to be 'points of interest' - as they may well not necessarily be what you would want as points of interest - better to download your own maybe then you know what you are getting?

 

And certainly not for £350!!!!

Yes I've just received an E-mail from TT advising me of this....what a shame you cannot just update/upgrade the existing one but have to buy a new one at great expense. I suspect this one is to compete with the one whcih the CC seems to advertise quite a lot, where you can specifiy the size/type of unit/vehicel, and i think is not far off a similar price.

But I'm afraid for me,it's a long way from the top of the things to buy!

does the POI's include bluebadge parking places tom tom said a couple years ago they were thinking about it and may come on later tomtoms no seen anything on their web just wondering if its in this new totmtom.
