Brit_Stops
Packing up the mhome now. Should be on our way just after lunch time! Thurs-Sat all dry if not sunny. Few showers forecast for Sunday, but after our recent drought weather I'm quite ok with that! Steve
Dave Newell
Its a gloriously sunny morning here at the Royal Berkshire showground. We ad a light shower yesterday evening but not enough to worry about. See you all down here later. D,
Guest Tracker
Watch out everyone we're on our way - you have been warned!! Hope to meet a few of you over the weekend so if you see our HN56 reg Peugeot Autocruise Starlet ll in the general camping area with a friendly but daft border collie in or around it chances are it's us! All are welcome for a cuppa and a natter so do come and say hello - even those with whom I may have fallen out in the past as the past is firmly in the past!! mirage
Went today as a Day Visitor thought it was a waste of time, very few new vans to look at, even the accessories seemed less than normal sign of the times?
Bojitoes
We are thinking of visiting the show today as day visitors- whats the weather like? Its cold and miserable in Birmingham and I wouldnt want to go if it was the same in Newbury. Bob
WildBill
Well the monsoon and flash floods failed to appear and it ended up as not a bad weekend. Typical though, the weather is now scorching after the event. We prefered the show layout of the last few years, found this one a bit strange. Sundowner
Went as a day visitor, thought I'd cracked the parking, - near the main entrance, but they had moved it to the bottom of the field ! Fewer exhibitors than usual, but enjoyed it just the same. Could not find a single van that would suit us as much as our present one, but bought some waterless cleaning stuff, seems to work OK. Also ordered a fitted one-piece rubber mat for the cab. Tempted by "boys toy" daylight running lights, as a present for the van. Nice day out weather was great. WildBill
Speaking to someone who was in the middle of fitting his running lights. He got his from Maplins for about £14. They wire onto the alternator, didn't go into specifics but they seem cheaper than those at the show.
