Barryd999 Posted May 24, 2012 Author Share Posted May 24, 2012 I read this review and it was off putting in that it stated only 2GB of memory and also that you couldnt load your own POI. However according to TomTom the Europe unit should be 4GB http://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/products/tomtom-outlet-store/via-110-europe-refurbished/#tab:specifications and reading on various forums there was an issue when it first came out with the PC software not allowing you to add POI but I think this was resolved last year. Mel B Posted May 24, 2012 Share Posted May 24, 2012 As a digression, whilst away we were chatting to another Brit (who had exactly the same van as us!) who had got a sat nav and reversing camera system from this chap at Glasgow via Ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260959257593?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2648 He said it worked a treat and the mapping was good, it certainly looked a nice piece of kit and for the money was an absolute bargain even if you only want a reversing/rear view camera and not the sat-nav.
