Mel B
Whilst in France a couple of years ago, we were poised to pay for a parking ticket (on street parking) when a local told us not to bother as they couldn't do anything about it. However, this time in France we noticed a UK registered car had been 'ticketed' for a parking infringement we assume, which got me wondering, if the owner doesn't pay the fine is there any comeback? I assume if it was the other way round and a French visitor to the UK got a parking fine, they'd just ignore it (they seem to ignore parking regs in France anyway!) so is it the same for UK visitors to France? :-S
kelly58
Non compliance of parking regs in France can cause problems.
BGD
Mel - you can get away with not paying a parking ticket ('cos they are only locally administered by that Council), BUT anyone parking illegally does run the risk of being towed..........and that IS an expensive caper.
