Mel B
The seat swivels in our van are starting to get some minor rust on them, they are just painted steel from what I can tell - what is the best way to 'treat' them to stop them getting worse and/or make them look like new? Hubby is of the opinion that only taking them off and spray-painting them is the answer but as this will be a pig of a job I'm reluctant to do so if there is an easier answer. Any suggestions? Dave Newell
Hi Mel, hubby is right the only way to do the job properly is to, well do the job properly. You could try rubbing down the rusty bits in situ and hand painting them but its going to make a mess in your motorhome and won't be a particularly good finish. D. crinklystarfish
Could always remove them and have a local firm powder coat them. It would certainly cut down on the labour and mess and they shouldn't ever be a problem again
