derek pringle
Hi All, Just about to leave for a 6 week juant through Germany /Switzerland/Italy/ Austria and back through Germany to Rotterdam where we are getting the ferry to and from. Sounds great til you look at the weather forecast, it looks atrocious. Just pray we can negotiate our way through the worse bits. One hope is that the forecasters never seem to get it right anyway. cheers derek
Tony Jones
Is it too late to rewrite your plan, turn right out of Rotterdam instead of left, and spend the time in France and Spain? Which matters more - good weather or seeing the particular places you'd been looking forward top? Only you can answer!
BGD
Can you not simply point the van further southwards when you leave the ferry, and chug around maybe Southern France/Spain instead this time? That's the beauty of an MH, you can wander as the mood takes you............. (We've currently got temps in the low 80's here in the Costa Blanca region of Spain, and we are just about to load up the van and head up to mid-France for a few weeks in search of cooler weather.
