Pete-B
Hi, My vans in storage a few miles away at the moment and I need a measurement if anyone can help please. The vans a Bessacarr E460 on a 12 plate and I need the distance between the bottom of the grey water outlet pipe and the ground. If someone has one on their drive and could check this out for me I would be very appreciative. Thanks a lot.
Mel B
Sorry, can't help with the measurement but I'm intrigued ... why do you need to know! :D
Pete-B
Hi Mel, Someone offered me a stand up, not lay flat grey water carrier and wanted to know if it would fit under the outlet! ;-)
Brian Kirby
Then you will need also to make allowance for the suspension being compressed as the van is loaded, and for unevennesses in the ground where you park. Motorhome grey water outlets aren't really designed to discharge to a secondary tank, but to a drain, and they tend to be set quite low.
LordThornber
If it won't fit, make it fit 8-) Can you fit a pipe to your existing outlet and direct it to the free standing tank? That's what we do after realising the noise generated by water splashing into it might prove a nuisance to a neighbour sat outside. Considerate? Moi? But of course..
