tugga
Hello Has anyone ever purchased one of these that doesn't speak Italian? If so, how easy is it to use? I fancy a trip to Italy, perhaps next year. Thanks in advance.
Guest JudgeMental
Just look on Italian sites load if you google the term" aire di Sosta" use chrome and it automatically translates have just planned our Italian Tuscany trip,no fumbling around with books. Just download al the aires to your sat nav and away you go. The French site covers other EU countries: http://www.campingcar-infos.com/index1.htm 3 italian sites http://www.camperonline.it/area_di_sosta_italia.asp http://www.turismoitinerante.com/php/sosta/italia/search.php http://www.eurocampingcar.com/index2.php3?lg=it&cat_id=
Matrix Meanderer
Thanks for the great list of online sites. We are travelling to Rimini in September/October - these free or paid stopover sites are very helpful as most of the main campsites seem to close in mid/late September. Who needs a book when you have online access to this amount of information. :-D
Guest JudgeMental
Thanks Ian, I try to help when and where I can...I don't think I do badly for a barely educated racist (according to that ass Derwek Uzzal)
tugga
Thanks for that info Judge. The reason I was after the book is that I don't tend to use the internet when I am abroad, but downloading them onto the sat nav is a good idea that I hadn't thought about. Thanks again. Charles Chodkowski
We purchased a 2007 one five years ago and found it fairly easy to use and have just purchased a 2012 edition. The good thing with a book and a map is that you get a good overview of what's availble without having to log on or trawl through your satnav.
