tonyclaire
We have just purchased our first motorhome. Some of you will know we were looking at used Elddis vans as they were in our price range but we were soon put off because of water ingress issues even on 2011 models. We now own a 57 plate Burstner Solano T615, not only in very good condition but we were lucky as it came with extras we have calculated to be in the region of 5-8k. We like many others were dubious of this type of motorhome broker but having done some research and contacting someone who also had purchased a van from them we decided to go ahead. Richard Wood the director fully understood we were nervous first time buyers and with his wealth of knowledge of motorhomes managed to find a vehicle that not only is perfect for our needs, is also a high spec quality German manufactured van on a euro 4 chassis. The vehicles are sold on a 'sold as seen' basis but the seller has to be totally open about the van condition and history. Richard and his team then carry out their own checks (inc hpi) and if they are not happy they return it to the seller. OK we had to drive from Surrey to Mansfield to view the van at Richard's office but we made a mini roadtrip of it and came away with a motorhome we never thought we could ever afford! We thought it sounded 'too good to be true' but dealerships work on a large profit margin. Richard's moto is 'little but often' re profit margin and passes this on to the buyer. Just to say, we have no affiliation with Richard Wood or buymymotorhome.com but we would highly recommend them

Trish C
They were at Peterborough last year (2011) and we did a part ex with them. We were a bit worried but it was the easiest transaction we have ever done. They even did the extended warranty to start when the manufacturers warranty expired. We would deal with them again except we are on our last last van!!!!
