Bulletguy
Crossed the border from Hungary into Romania yesterday but before passing through had to queue to buy a Vignette. Only €10 for one month, but took over an hour standing in baking sun. There were a few of these little booths, all the same, a shack with a tin roof on so even when you got inside you went from being burnt alive to spit roasted. Just one woman at each booth doing 'the paperwork'. *-) No idea why they can't figure a system like their Hungary where you simply walk into any nice air conditioned Service Station and pay over the counter....all done in seconds. It's simply a matter of registering that you have paid. Given that the daily temps are running at 35c+ I may well stick around here for a week or so as i'm on a really good site and driving in this heat is not fun. http://i50.tinypic.com/1z4g0p1.jpg http://i50.tinypic.com/21l7lht.jpg
