arthur49
Ok I know but.............. Where is the oil filter located on a pug Boxer? I've looked from top, with difficulty from bottom (need new axle stands) and I can't see oil filter! I do know a bit about vehicles. I am quite handy. Is it a different shape to the normal 'can' shape? Yours in embarrassment............ Arthur :$

Robinhood
....haven't got a Boxer, but the engine is the (same as the) Ford 2.2 TDCi. The oil filter on this is a replaceable element type, not an all-in-one canister, and the housing is in front of the sump, around the middle of the vehicle. (should be able to see it by looking under the front bumper) A shortish black plastic 'bowl' with a hex nut shape (36mm I think) moulded onto the bottom to allow for removal. ...I would think the Boxer will be the same (since the advertised filters are a replaceable element type) ....not the most obvious unless you know what you are looking for :-S . Pictured below, but the bowl faces down when installed.
hallii
And don't over tighten it, it seals with an "O" ring and there is no point in over tightening, the plastic bowl just cracks. H
