AnnPaul
Why stay overnight in Dover with all the hassle. Stay in the Cite of Europe. Lokk for the MH parking signs very near the Police Paul
bolero boy
Surely it depends on the Ferry sailing time? An early sailing means parking in Dover is more convenient - we will be trying it next week. Thanks to all for advice and to Jeremy for the map - tis as I thought. Sophie
£16.50 with food included isn't bad-depending on what you eat of course.

Bojitoes
For info for those who haven't done it before. We had an excellent night on Marine Parade / Waterloo Crescent last night. We turned right off the third roundabout, coming from the M20 motorway, then turned left 130 yards later and parked up opposite a seafood restaurant and bar in the caravan / motorhome area- absolutely no prolem at all. We walked along the prom to the Premier Inn and had a couple of drinks and could have had a meal but did not. Twenty or so motorhomes parked in that area, opposite the flats, of all nationalities. We felt safe and it is very handy for the ferry- will definitely do it again the next time we catch the ferry. Thanks for all the advice again.
