fjmike
Thanks for the prompt replies. Must be a glitch at my end then as even using Google Chrome and clicking on your links I still can't get the site to load.
Retread24800
Yeah Campingcar-infos works well on Firefox :-)
Derek Uzzell
fjmike All the links provided by previous posters access the campingcar-infos website for me (browser=Safari on an iMac), as does the link produced when I GOOGLE "Campingcar-infos". So the problem is definitely your end. I suggest you check your security/firewall settings.
Mike B.
It's working on mine too so can confirm what the others are saying that it is your end that's the problem Mike
BGD
I'm also running Google Chrome as my web browser, and the site opens perfectly on my computer........
Tony Jones
Reckon your computer has been hacked into by the Caravan Club, Mike - you know what THEY think about aires and suchlike!!! :D :D
bolero boy
Are the different types of aires POI info available separatly as I am mainly interested in the 'stationment' sites for stopping over. My current file seems to have lots of other types of aire which is OK if you can distinguish them on the Tomtom. I have the Aires book/map but browsing on the Tomtom is. so much easier. Hope I have made my query clear enough and that there is a way to be more selective. Thanks.
Tony Jones
Hi Chris Have a look at "Way2Go's" thread about POIS on "Hints and Tips" forum - it's "pinned" to the top of the list. There's some info there about different symbols used for different types, although I think they've changed slightly since then.
Robinhood
I hope I understand the question. Whilst there is a single download (zip) file, it contains each of the different categories as a separate .ov2 file within - along with a different .bmp icon for each category. If you install all the categories, you should be able to differentiate by icon. You do not have to install every category, however. If after expanding the zip you choose only the ones you want (the various stationnement ones) and their icons, and install only these, then surely that fulfils your requirement? bolero boy
Thanks Tony and Robin. Yes, Robin thousand is exactly my requirement. I'll check the file I originally downloaded and added to my tomtom. I certainly only seem to have one Aires icon so will check the download when I get. Home. Thanks again. bolero boy
Hi all, I've downloaded the various individual files (and the all embracing TOTALES file) which each have a corresponding different logo. Some of these are a bit baffling - green MH with 'animal' logo........ Each categoty also has a 'coded' naming convention AA, AC, ACF, ACS, AP, APCC, APN, AS, ASN. I have searced the campingcar-infos site but cant find a definition for each category. Does anyone know where I might find the different names/categories so that I can decide which group(s) to add to my Tomtom? Many thanks.
